Right at the centre of Salisbury’s historic marketplace, it’s hard to miss The Ox Row Inn. That said, the pub does have two addresses – 10-11 Ox Row and 18-22 Butcher Row – don’t allow yourself to be confused!

Arguably the biggest attraction near Salisbury, and certainly the oldest, is Stonehenge. It lies just 9 miles north of the city and draws visitors from all over the world.
Salisbury itself is a fantastic place to explore for history buffs too. The beautiful Salisbury Cathedral, dating back to the 1258, needs to be on everyone’s to do list – not only does it have the tallest church spire in the country and the world’s oldest working clock, but it also holds one of the four original copies of the Magna Carta.
Other highlights of the city include the Salisbury Museum, Mompesson and Wilton House. Old Sarum, just a few miles from the city centre, is definitely worth a visit too.
